Welcome.

Therapy for Burnout, Trauma, Chronic Illness, Postpartum Depression, and Life Transitions

If you are struggling with burnout, trauma or PTSD, chronic illness, postpartum depression, anxiety, or the transition to adulthood, asking for help can feel difficult. You do not have to navigate it alone.

The transition to adulthood can bring significant pressure and uncertainty. Navigating independence, college or career decisions, relationships, family expectations, identity, finances, and changing responsibilities can feel overwhelming, especially when you are also managing stress, anxiety, depression, or past trauma.

In a fast-paced and demanding world, many people become used to carrying too much for too long. Reaching out for therapy is not a sign of weakness, it is a meaningful first step toward healing, balance, and lasting wellness. With compassionate support and a fresh perspective, you can better understand what you are experiencing, strengthen your coping skills, and move forward with greater confidence.

The ways we cope are often shaped by our past experiences, relationships, beliefs, and the demands we face each day. Therapy offers a private, supportive space to explore the issues that matter most to you, process difficult experiences, and build the emotional tools needed to meet life’s challenges.

As an experienced psychotherapist, I am honored to support individuals and couples as they work toward meaningful change and a healthier, more fulfilling life.

I provide individual therapy and couples counseling in person in Carlsbad, California, and through a secure, encrypted telehealth platform for clients physically located in California and Indiana.

The Benefits of Therapy

Trauma-Informed Therapy for Healing, Growth, and Lasting Change

Therapy can provide a supportive, confidential space to better understand yourself, work through challenges, and build practical tools for everyday life. Whether you are experiencing burnout, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, chronic illness, postpartum concerns, or the transition to adulthood, psychotherapy can help you identify patterns that no longer serve you and create meaningful change.

Seeking therapy is an active step toward caring for your mental health and well-being. Together, we can explore the concerns bringing you to therapy, clarify your goals, and develop strategies that support healing, resilience, and a more fulfilling life.

As an experienced Marriage and Family Therapist, I provide individualized therapy from a trauma-informed and holistic perspective. I draw from evidence-based and client-centered approaches, including:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Brainspotting

  • Person-Centered Therapy

  • Psychoeducation

  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy

Your treatment plan will be tailored to your unique experiences, strengths, needs, and goals. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all; we will collaborate to determine the approach and pace that feel most supportive for you.

With honesty, compassion, and respect, I work to create a safe and open therapeutic relationship. Our sessions can help you strengthen coping skills, improve self-understanding, process difficult experiences, communicate more effectively, and practice self-compassion. Over time, these skills can help you navigate future challenges with greater confidence, flexibility, and emotional well-being.

Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start.
